In the summer, the free agent, becoming a London “Chelsea“ defender Thiago Silva reached a verbal agreement with the new team.

The 39-year-old Brazilian will move for free to his home country club “Fluminense“.

As reported by the Brazilian newspaper "Grupo Globo", T. Silva will play for this team until the summer of 2026.

The defender played for "Fluminense" from 2006-09, before moving to elite clubs. Thiago Silva also attended the academy of this club.
