Speaking about the future of sniper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the ranks of Borussia Dortmund, the club's coach Thomas Tuchel sounded ambiguous.
At first, he said he was sure that the striker would not leave, but then spoke slightly differently.
This summer the Bundesliga vice-champions have already sold three important footballers - Mats Hummels, Ilkay Gundogan, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
However, Tuchel insists that Aubameyang's situation is different.
"I am completely sure," - Tuchel said at a press conference. "We have a long-term contract, which makes the situation completely different from what it was with other important players like Mats, Ilkay, and Mkhitaryan."
"So, based on what I know now, and I also maintain a close relationship with the club's management and sports director, I can say that he will stay and remain our player. Auba is our main footballer. He is very important, an incredible finisher, and a great personality. So, now I would say that he will stay, but..."
Tuchel didn't finish this thought, but continued speaking less confidently.
"I don't know. I can't predict the future, but if you ask me now, I would say he will stay," - the strategist added.
It is worth mentioning that Aubameyang has already mentioned his dream of one day playing for Real Madrid.
