The Paris Saint-Germain team is preparing for the Ligue 1 match against Bordeaux on Saturday, but Thomas Tuchel revealed that the team's thoughts are already focused on the UEFA Champions League.
After the match against Bordeaux, the Parisians will look to regroup in a few days, as they will face the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday. They will travel to Manchester, where they will face a Manchester United team that is showing better and better performance.
"I won't lie and say that we are all thinking about Manchester. I think it's completely normal," Tuchel said at the press conference.
"We talked about it with the players and agreed to stay calm and focused on the details. Of course, our attention is now on Bordeaux, where we will need special discipline. I am happy with the atmosphere within our team," the coach continued.
It is already known that Neymar will miss the quarter-final stage due to injury. However, Tuchel received other good news - Marco Verratti should return to the field today.
"Everyone, except Neymar, is available for the match. I hope Marco will be ready. If so, he will be able to play 45 minutes in the game against Bordeaux," added Tuchel.
