Thomas Tuchel is not overly concerned about the reports in the media that Kylian Mbappe and Neymar will leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
There have been no doubts about the future of K. Mbappe for a long time, but not long ago, the Frenchman made a somewhat unexpected speech at an awards ceremony about wanting to take on more responsibility, regardless of the team he plays for.
There has been a question mark hanging over Neymar for some time now, although the more realistic possibility at the moment is that he will stay for at least another year.
"This is football, we are not naive," T. Tuchel said in a press conference. "During the transfer window, many clubs want more than one or two players. If you ask for my opinion as a coach, I want both Neymar and Mbappe to stay here. However, if a different scenario happens, we will find solutions."
When asked about Mbappe's speech, where he criticized himself as well, T. Tuchel replied: "I was a bit disappointed with Kylian's words. He has his own ideas and is very intelligent, but he, like all the players playing for PSG, is encouraged to take responsibility."
