Bayern Munich experienced their third consecutive defeat and Thomas Tuchel should feel very insecure about his job.

Bayern lost 2-3 to Bochum, who were in 11th place in the Bundesliga before this match. Bayern was in 15th place.

The match started positively for the Bavarians. Jamal Musiala scored in the 14th minute.

Before halftime, Bochum successfully turned the game around. Goals from Takuma Asano and Keven Schlotterbeck put the hosts in the lead.

The match was also marked by ongoing fans' protests in Germany. Because of them, at least 20 additional minutes were added to the main time over both halves.

The situation became even worse in the 83rd minute. Dayot Upamecano received a second yellow card, was sent off the field for the second time this week, and Kevin Stroger doubled Bochum's lead to 3-1.

Kane was only able to reduce the score. He had opportunities to equalize, but the Englishman failed to overcome the Bayern team.

The gap at the top of the league table between Bayern and Bayer currently stands at 8 points.
