London's Arsenal forward Theo Walcott believes that his team is capable of defeating the German champion Bayern Munich. However, the "Gunners" will need to play as well as they did in the match against Manchester United a few weeks ago.
The London team then stunned Louis van Gaal's students from the first minutes and thanks to a hurricane attack scored three goals in less than half of the first half.
Yesterday, Arsenal defeated Watford with the same result, but despite a good performance on the local front, the Gunners lost their first two UEFA Champions League matches.
"The game against Bayern Munich will be a real challenge, but we will have home support. We will need to demonstrate a similar game as against Manchester United," said Walcott.
"We know we can beat anyone, and we will be ready for this match."
"We need to forget those first few Champions League matches. We know we can achieve a positive result against Bayern and put everything in its place."
"Looking at our last home match against Manchester United, it can definitely be said that the intensity was completely different than against Olympiacos."
The English national team player also added that the struggles of English clubs in international tournaments are temporary and there are enough talented players in the Premier League for teams to recover.
