„RB Leipzig“ club's shining striker Timo Werner will try to prove his worth in the „Premier“ League next season. The 24-year-old German, before the end of the season, agreed to move to London's „Chelsea“ club, which paid around 50 million euros for the footballer. Giving an interview to the official club website, T. Werner revealed that the main reason he chose „Chelsea“ was head coach Frank Lampard. “Lampard was the main reason for my arrival at this club. We talked a lot about the system and how he plans to use me. He is a very pleasant person. Lampard not only talked about what he expects from me, but also about how he could help me,“ said T. Werner. The striker is also convinced that the „Premier“ League will fit his playing style perfectly. “Football in the „Premier“ League is very fast, and one of my strongest qualities is speed. I think this league will suit me perfectly. It will be a completely new league and a different country for me, so I have a great opportunity to prove that I can elevate my game to an even higher level,“ added the new „Chelsea“ striker.
