During the 35th round of the Italian Serie B championship on Saturday, Lithuanian national team striker scored his 14th goal of the season and helped the "Avellino" team secure a draw against "Piacenza".
In the 29th minute, Luigi Riccio scored with a header, putting the away team "Piacenza" in the lead. However, in the 87th minute, Tomas Danilevičius equalized the score after a pass from Massimo Rastelli, denying "Piacenza" their first away victory in the last six months.
At the end of the match, "Avellino" had a chance to snatch a victory, but the goalkeeper saved a shot from Raffaele Biancolino. With this draw, "Avellino" remains in the relegation zone to Serie C, trailing behind the team above them, "Ternana".
Meanwhile, Marius Stankevičius' "Brescia" missed the opportunity to climb higher and ended their home match against "Mantova" goalless. Taking advantage of this draw, "Torino" defeated the second-placed "Catania" team at home and pushed "Brescia" down to sixth place.
