The Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) has announced the candidates to win the title of the best player in the English leagues and has selected the best eleven of this season.
In the goalkeeper position, Ederson was chosen over Alisson, who conceded the fewest goals this season in the league.
Three Liverpool players are part of the back four - Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson, and Trent Alexander-Arnold. Also included is Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte.
Manchester City is also represented in the midfield - Paul Pogba from Manchester United, Fernandinho, and Bernardo Silva from Manchester City.
The attacking trio consists of Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero (both from Manchester City), and Sadio Mane from Liverpool.
Although the main awards ceremony will take place next Sunday, information has already leaked online that V. van Dijk has been recognized as the best player of this season.
