Confidently playing in the "Serie A" season, forward Olivier Giroud contributes a lot to Milan's team victories. The 2018 world champion spoke with the magazine "GQ Italia" and mentioned ten things he couldn't live without.
Hair care. "It's always funny for my teammates, because my hairstyle remains intact every time I play. The secret is simple: I apply a little wax to damp hair and spray a bit of hair spray."
Belief. "It helps me move forward every day and stay positive. I understand that Jesus was very humble, and I try to behave that way every day."
Personal shin guards. "They are somewhat special because I have written the names of all family members - wife, children, as well as my number and attached a picture of each. Before every match, I like to look at photos of my children, which gives me extra motivation."
Tiramisu. "As soon as I enter a restaurant, I try to find out if this dessert is on the menu. Tiramisu reminds me that I have a little Italian blood in me. I like to finish my dinner by eating this dessert."
Contact lenses. "I have been wearing them since 2011 when I played for the Montpellier club. During the first season, I received comments from an ophthalmologist to acquire them. In the second season, we won the championship title, and I became the top scorer in the league."
Soccer shoes. "I really like this footwear - very beautiful, light, and comfortable. My children's names are written on the shoes, and you can see the flag of France. During training, I use more worn-out shoes, which are a bit stretched, but I try to play with new shoes in matches."
Coffee. "In the morning, I need a few cups of coffee to fully wake up, which is also why I like tiramisu. How many cups of coffee do I drink a day? Three to four, I couldn't live without coffee."
Watch. "I like to collect watches and collect products from different companies. It is an investment. When I get ready in the morning and don't have a watch, I feel bad and feel like something is missing."
Keys. "These keys must always be with me. I really like sports cars and the roar of the engine. I'm not trying to constantly race through the streets, but when I can, I try to enjoy driving. I have several cars, but in Milan, knowing that the club is sponsored by BMW, I drive an M8, and I really like it."
Soccer. "This is my whole life. Soccer has been with me since childhood - when I returned from school, I kicked the ball against the wall. I remember that my parents were not very happy. Now at home, I always have a ball, and every evening I play with my children. It happens after the training, it's just my whole life."
