Marc-Andre ter Stegen revealed why he didn't celebrate Lionel Messi's second goal in the UEFA Champions League clash with Manchester United.
In that match, the Catalans defeated the English visitors 3-0. One of the goals came after a rather clumsy mistake by David De Gea, when he failed to deal with a seemingly simple shot by L. Messi - the ball went straight through the goalkeeper's legs and hands.
"It took me some time to be able to celebrate the goal after De Gea's mistake. It hurts me," Ter Stegen said. "We are all humans and the same thing could happen to anyone."
"He plays in the same position as me. I told him it's just a minor, human mistake that could happen to me as well. Life goes on," the German spoke.
