Tevez denies talks about depression © EuroFootball.com

Striker Carlos Tevez denies trying to overcome the haunting depression with the help of specialists.

The footballer, who suffered a minor leg injury, spent the last week in his native Argentina and missed two matches.

Another Manchester team striker, Roque Santa Cruz, hinted that Tevez misses home, while the Argentine press reported about meetings with psychiatrists and depression.

"There is no truth in those words," said Tevez's representative. "Carlos is very hurt. Of course, like any loving father, he misses his daughters very much.

"But talk about something more than that, about problems and professional help, is untrue."
