On Tuesday, striker Carlos Tevez returned to England. The Argentine spent several months in his homeland, although the club had not allowed him to do so.
The 28-year-old striker, greeted by a crowd of journalists at the airport, immediately went to the training base, where he underwent physical fitness tests.
Tevez will not travel with the team to Portugal, where on Thursday the first UEFA Europa League knockout match against "Porto" will take place. However, after six days in the return match in Manchester, his name may already appear on the team roster.
Having lived in Argentina since November 7, the player last played an official match in September. Coach Roberto Mancini has said that he will no longer be part of the team, but recently has softened his stance.
