For sports enthusiasts and more specifically for those who follow top division football, this season has started in the best possible way, with a Champions League and a Europa League that has already provided great emotions and some surprises in the results from the first matches. We have also seen how up to this point the two most interesting foreign leagues are the Spanish Liga and the English Premier League. Unpredictable and extravagant the Liga, where Real Madrid seemed almost in disarray, in the league, but also Barcelona with Messi and his teammates has already drawn a few too many games, leaving other teams the chance for a moment of glory, something that has not always happened during the last ten years in the Spanish league. Different instead is the scenario that we have witnessed in the Premier League, where practically the top four teams leading the standings from the first day are competing for a championship within the championship, since no one else is able to compete with this pace of victories and miraculous performances.
The surprises in the English league
The surprise has certainly been represented by the Chelsea of Maurizio Sarri, the Tuscan coach in his first experience in England leading the Blues, assisted by Gianfranco Zola, has already made Antonio Conte forget and has been for a part of the season the only undefeated coach, considering both league and Europa League matches. Sarri's first defeat came during the match against Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham Hotspur and Harry Kane. After this match, the Premier League rankings also changed, with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City leading from the top and still unbeaten in the league, as well as Klopp's Liverpool, closely following from the beginning of the season. A fairly compact ranking, at least up to the fifth position of Arsenal, while the Manchester United of José Mourinho appears already quite detached from the leading group, but has distinguished itself in the Champions League by beating Allegri's Juventus, one of the teams favored in terms of betting for the final victory of the trophy, whose final will be played on June 1, 2019 in Madrid. It is difficult to determine who could win the Premier League title: perhaps it is still early for Sarri's Chelsea, while Liverpool could achieve the season's goal, which has been missing from the English team since the 1989-1990 season, a statistic that also applies to Carlo Ancelotti's Napoli, as both teams, who faced each other in the Champions League this year, have not won the title for 28 seasons.
Who to bet on?
Online English bookmakers offer sports bets of all kinds, with different sections dedicated to various sports, where of course there will be more emphasis on professional football in the Premier League and other divisions, as well as all European cup competitions, including the Nations League and foreign leagues. In addition to football, we can also find other main sports, on which betting is common in both Italy and the rest of Europe, such as tennis, volleyball, Formula One, basketball, and many more. One of the most interesting aspects is certainly related to the live betting section. Being an online betting platform that can be accessed from desktops, laptops, or mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, it has been important to introduce a live betting section. Until a few years ago, live betting was only possible through betting centers and therefore with the usual bookmakers with a regular AAMS license, but today there are websites offering legal bets on English leagues that can offer a rather limited range of odds, due to the fact that they are all directly or indirectly interconnected.
