Former US national team goalkeeper Brad Friedel is not thinking about the end of his career. The veteran has signed a new one-year contract with London's Tottenham.
The 43-year-old goalkeeper joined Spurs in 2011, but was only the main goalkeeper for one season. For the past two years, he has been the backup to Hugo Lloris.
Friedel will leave Tottenham when he turns 44. The American is the oldest player still playing in the English Premier League.
The footballer was supposed to leave the London team this summer, but the new club coach Mauricio Pochettino decided to keep the experienced goalkeeper for another season.
Earlier, Friedel has worn the jerseys of teams like Liverpool, Blackburn, and Aston Villa in England.
