"Juventus" does not intend to acquire "Bayern" forward Mario Mandžukič, says the footballer's agent.
During the summer transfer window, the German team will be reinforced by Robert Lewandowski, who will take the main striker position, so the Croatian's minutes on the field will be significantly reduced.
Interviewed by Italian journalists, player's agent Ivan Cvjetkovič categorically denied rumors about negotiations with the Italian champions.
"I have not received a call from 'Juventus' and have not met with their club representatives. Mario has a valid contract for two more years and has no intention of moving anywhere," Cvjetkovič said.
In the last season's UEFA Champions League quarterfinals match in Munich, M. Mandžukič contributed with a goal to Bayern's victory against "Juventus" with a score of 2-0.
In the German Bundesliga, the forward played 16 matches and scored 10 goals.
