Wesley Sneijder's agent Guido Albers claims that Istanbul's "Galatasaray" will only sell the Dutchman if they receive the specified buyout amount of 20 million euros. Turin's "Juventus," on the other hand, does not want to pay that much money.
Earlier, "bianconeri" coach Massimiliano Allegri spoke about Sneijder being a great addition to his team, and Albers confirmed rumors about ongoing negotiations.
However, "Juventus" does not intend to pay the full required amount, so, according to the agent, the Dutch national team player will continue to give his all to "Galatasaray."
"The club's management said they will consider only those offers that reach the specified 20 million euro buyout price in the contract. Juventus will not pay that amount,” Albers told NTV Spor. “I don't think any club in the world would be willing to pay such money."
"Today, we had a meeting with the board. We talked about Juventus' offer. They said they don't want to sell Sneijder. His contract with Galatasaray is still valid for another 18 months and he is happy in Istanbul."
The footballer's agent also added that talks about extending the contract have not yet begun.
