“Man Utd” team could fall into the hands of Arab tycoons.
“Sky Sports” journalist Kavehas Solhekolas reports that the Glazer family has received a very solid offer for one of the most famous clubs on the planet.
Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani, CEO of Qatar's QIB bank, is trying to acquire the “Red Devils” team.
The Arabs want to revive the team's past glory and develop youth programs, renew infrastructure.
There would be no debts left in the club. And all profits would go to the team's community,” the journalist wrote.
It is reported that the Arabs offered about 5 billion pounds for “Man Utd”.
Currently, the club is in third place in the Premier League and is still competing in the Europa League knockout stages.
