Successfully passing the first UEFA Champions League qualifying stage, Vilnius' "Žalgiris" is happy with a significantly increasing team budget. The capital city's club is guaranteed to play against two more opponents in Europe, which will result in a prize of about 1.4 million euros. However, this is the smallest amount possible for the Vilnius team. It has been announced that this season UEFA expects to receive 3.5 billion euros in revenue, of which there will be a profit of 2.92 billion euros. This means that 2.73 billion euros will be distributed to clubs on the Old Continent - 2.03 billion to Champions League teams, 465 million to Europa League teams, and 235 million to Conference League teams. Each team playing in the group stage of the Champions League will receive 15.64 million euros, while teams eliminated in the final qualifying stage will receive 5 million euros. Victory in the Champions League group stage will guarantee 2.8 million euros, and draws will receive 930 thousand euros. Wins in the Europa and Conference League group stages will allow clubs to add 630 and 500 thousand euros to their budgets respectively, while draws will add 210 and 166 thousand euros.
