Spanish publication AS announced the best eleven players of 2016. The goalkeeper position was taken by Bayern Munich's star Manuel Neuer, and the defense line was formed by Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus), Gerard Pique (Barcelona), and Sergio Ramos (Real). The midfielders are Luka Modric (Real) and Toni Kroos (Real). Threatening opponents' goals are Gareth Bale (Real), Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Antoine Griezmann (Atletico), Cristiano Ronaldo (Real), and Luis Suarez (Barcelona). Interestingly, almost the entire team is made up of "La Liga" players - the only outsiders being M.Neuer and L.Bonucci.
