"Liverpool" defender Adam Lallana was named the best player of England in 2016.
The laureate (39% of the votes) participated in the European Championship in France and scored 3 goals in 10 matches for his national team.
In the selection of the best footballers organized by the England fan club, the second place was taken by Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy (12%), and the third remained with "Man Utd" emblem Wayne Rooney (8%).
"This is a huge appreciation. The last winners were Rooney and Steven Gerrard, and this shows how significant it is to win these elections," Lallana said.
"Southampton" representative Nathan Redmond was named the best U-21 age football player.
