The best player of the first week of the Champions League is a 19-year-old Norwegian.

Erling Braut Haaland has become the best player of the first week of the newly started UEFA Champions League tournament.

The 19-year-old Norwegian scored three goals against "Genk" in the group stage match and helped the "Salzburg" team secure a convincing 6-2 victory.

The rising star of Norwegian football impressed with a hat-trick in the first half. The forward took three shots on goal during the match and all of them were accurate.

This season, Haaland has already scored 17 goals in nine matches.

Also competing for the Player of the Week title were Marc-Andre ter Stegen (Barcelona), Angel Di Maria (PSG), and Dinamo Zagreb's striker Mislav Orsic, who also scored a hat-trick.
