At the "Laureus" World Sports Awards ceremony in Abu Dhabi, the best team of the year was recognized as the Spanish national football team.
"La Furia Roja" triumphed in the World Cup for the first time in its history, surpassing the Milan "Inter" club, which won three prestigious titles - the Italian championship, national cup, and Champions League.
The legendary Frenchman Zinedine Zidane also received an award for his lifetime achievements.
