Aleksandras Hlebas can stay in the club, his agent assures.
The Belarusian national team defender was loaned to Birmingham last season, and he wore the Stuttgart jersey the season before. However, the footballer, currently recovering from an injury, has not signed any long-term contracts with any team.
"We haven't heard anything from Barcelona representatives," said Hlebas' agent Uli Ferberis to RAC1. "We hope he will be able to train again in about a month, but until then, we can hardly negotiate with other clubs."
He added: "Aleksandras plans to stay in Barcelona, although he knows it won't be easy."
