After two consecutive losses, Bulgarian national team strategist Stanimir Stoilov stepped down from his position.

The 43-year-old specialist claims that team captain Stiliyan Petrov may follow in his footsteps.

In the European Championship qualifying cycle, Bulgarians lost 0-4 to England away on Friday, and on Tuesday at home they were not a match for Montenegro - 0-1.

"Stiliyan may also step down from the team," the strategist said. "I hope he will change his mind, and Dimitar Berbatov will return to the national team. They are very much needed."
