On Friday evening, the only Bundesliga match took place, although it was interrupted after playing just over 71 minutes. The team "Bochum" was trailing 0:2 at home against "Monchengladbach" when one of the home fans threw a plastic beer mug onto the field, hitting the assistant referee. The match was stopped, and later it was announced that it would not be resumed. The "Bochum" club apologized to the match referee on their social media account and called the fan who threw the mug simply an idiot. The decision regarding the outcome of these matches will be announced in the near future.
