Bundesliga announced the schedule for the upcoming season.
It is reported that the defending champions, Bayern Munich, will start their campaign at home against Berlin's Hertha club.
The match will be played on August 16.
Last season's runners-up Borussia Dortmund will host Augsburg in front of their own fans, while newly promoted Union Berlin will face a tough opponent - a Champions League participant from Leipzig.
On November 1-3, an historic Berlin derby between Hertha and Union will take place.
The first "Klassiker" match between Borussia and Bayern will be held on November 8-10 at the Allianz Arena in Munich, with the return leg scheduled for early April in Dortmund.
