The Spanish media reports that Real Madrid and Barcelona are preparing to fight for the acquisition of this player. After the Spaniard left his homeland, his playing curve rose, leading to interest from two of the biggest clubs on the planet.
F. Ruiz has been playing for Napoli since 2018. The club is looking to sign a new contract with the player, but the mentioned two clubs are on his mind.
Real Madrid showed interest in him as early as last summer, while Barcelona sees him as a replacement for Ivan Rakitic, who will say goodbye to the club in the winter or summer transfer window.
Real Madrid sees F. Ruiz as an ideal candidate to replace Luka Modric, whose contract with the club expires right after the next season. Zinedine Zidane also does not show a strong desire to continue working with Dani Ceballos, so it is not ruled out that his sale could create an opportunity to acquire F. Ruiz.
The 23-year-old footballer is valued at no less than 60 million euros.
