UEFA Champions League has announced three players in each position who are vying for the best player awards. The list is dominated by players from Madrid's "Real," but it's not surprising as the Spanish capital club has triumphed in this tournament for the third year in a row. In the best goalkeeper category, three names are competing - Keylor Navas (Madrid's "Real"), Alisson ("Roma"/"Liverpool") and Gianluigi Buffon ("Juventus"/PSG). In the defender position - three representatives from Madrid's "Real": Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane and Marcelo. In the midfield - Luka Modric, Toni Kroos (both from Madrid's "Real") and Kevin De Bruyne ("Man City"). For the best forward title, Lionel Messi ("Barcelona"), Mohamed Salah ("Liverpool") and Cristiano Ronaldo (Madrid's "Real"/"Juventus") are competing. All winners from each position will be announced on August 30th.
