The coach of the Brazilian national team announced the lineup for the South American Championship.

Brazilian national team coach Tite revealed the list of 23 players who will represent the national team at the upcoming South American championship this summer.

Brazil will compete for the prestigious trophy in a group with Bolivia, Venezuela, and Peru.

Tite's selection surprised many football experts. Firstly, Fabinho, who had a great season with Liverpool, was left out of the team - Casemiro and Fernandinho were chosen for his position.

Marcelo, who had a poor season with Real Madrid, also did not make the team - Alex Sandro and Filipe Luis were selected instead. Marcelo's club mate Vinicius Junior was also not chosen, even though there were speculations for some time that Tite would give a chance to the young Brazilian, but his chances were complicated by his injury.

Richarlison, David Neres, and Everton were chosen alongside Neymar for the forward position. There was no room for Lucas Moura or Willian.

For the first time, Eder Militao, Arthur, Allan, and Lucas Paqueta were invited to a tournament of this caliber.
