The conditions of the unenforced contract between D. de Gea and "Real" club have been clarified

Football Leaks website revealed the contract details of David De Gea, which were supposed to come into effect this summer if Real Madrid club had managed to submit the documents to the La Liga representatives on time.

According to the documents presented on the website, David de Gea would have earned a total of 11.8 million euros per year. This transfer did not happen because the Madrid team was 28 minutes late in submitting the transfer documents.

In addition to the 11.8 million euros per year that the player would have received until July 2021, De Gea would also have received a one-time 10.9 million euro club joining bonus, which would have been paid out in January 2016. In total, over the six years, the Madrid goalkeeper would have earned just over 86 million euros.

De Gea would also have had to transfer 50% of his image rights to Real Madrid, and in order to terminate the contract with the Madrid team, the player would have had to pay an incredible sum of 500 million euros per year.

The contract with Real Madrid team is in Spanish, and anyone interested in viewing the terms can easily do so by downloading the file from this link.

It is worth noting that in the event of the deal with Real Madrid club falling through, the Spaniard decided to extend his contract with Manchester United team for another four years.

This is not the first contract that the Football Leaks website has exposed. Recently, more and more information about player and club agreements is emerging on the site, with perhaps the most famous so far being the details revealed between Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid regarding the acquisition of Gareth Bale.
