In the lower leagues of England, the battle on the field is boiling without compromise.
After the weekend match between "Truro City" and "Bognor Regis", the goalkeeper of the latter club, Dan Lincoln, ended up in the hospital and after being examined by doctors, he shared a gruesome photo on social media.
On the field, the player was injured so badly that the match was stopped for about half an hour.
"I am glad that I did not suffer serious injuries - just a few cuts and bruises," wrote D. Lincoln, complaining about the referees for not protecting the goalkeeper.
