This season's Champions League dessert football fans will most likely see in August. "Sky Sport Italia" reports that due to the coronavirus, the suspended competitions would resume from the quarterfinals stage, with matches taking place every three days. The remaining quarterfinal matches would be played on August 7-8, the quarterfinal meetings on August 11-12 and 14-15, the semifinals on August 18-19 and 21-22, and the final on August 29. This would mean that the 2020-2021 Champions League group stage would start no earlier than October 20.
