"Cardiff City" was supposed to be joined by Emiliano Sala, but the Argentine player died in a plane crash. The plane was being piloted by a pilot who did not have the proper license. Today, more than a year after the tragedy, details of the incident were revealed. During the accident on January 21, 2019, the pilot David Ibbotson did not have permission to conduct commercial flights. According to investigators, both occupants of the flight were poisoned by carbon monoxide during the flight, most likely caused by a leak in the exhaust pipe. The pilot, faced with unfavorable weather conditions, was unable to control the aircraft and it crashed into the sea."
