Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, it has been decided not to continue the postponed football season. This decision was made on Tuesday by the highest country's football league clubs and officials during a remote meeting. In Ukraine, the football season, as usual, was paused in December and was supposed to resume in the summer, but this did not happen due to the start of Russian aggression. On Tuesday, it was decided that the championship cannot be extended, and this season Ukraine will simply not have a country's champions. After playing 18 rounds, Donetsk's "Shakhtar" was in first place.
