Past week in Frankfurt, Germany, a medical symposium was held, attended by Regimantas Vasiliauskas, head of the medical center of the Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF).

Special symposiums are usually organized every four years, this time organized by UEFA, together with the German Football Federation.

National team doctors are invited to participate, as well as doctors from elite European clubs who participate in a special study. R. Vasiliauskas represented LFF at this event.

The main theme of this year's symposium was "The importance of medicine in football", aimed at highlighting the significant improvement of football medicine in recent years and its huge impact on the game today.

Each session of the symposium is carefully selected by the UEFA Medical Committee, to convey the important role that medicine plays in today's football and how it can improve the overall performance of the team.
