FIFA does not intend to punish clubs that have delegated their players to the World Cup.

It has been reported that at the 2022 World Cup, at least one representative from 440 teams (from 51 different countries) participated.

These teams will share a total of 209 million U.S. dollars.

The most money will go to "Man City" (4.59 million) and "Barcelona" (4.53 million). In third place is Munich's "Bayern" (4.33 million).

The 837 players who participated will also be satisfied, as they will receive 10,950 U.S. dollars for each day spent at the World Cup, regardless of the number of minutes played on the field.

In the future, these amounts will increase even more.

FIFA and the European Club Association have already agreed that in 2026 and 2030, each World Cup will distribute 355 million U.S. dollars.
