The doctor of the Croatian national team blames Carlo Ancelotti for Luka Modric's injury

The chief physician of the Croatian national team, Boris Nemec, blames Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti for another injury suffered by Luka Modric.

The 29-year-old footballer strained his muscles in the match against Malaga over the weekend and will not be able to help the team for about six weeks. Modric has already suffered an injury for the second time this season, but the first injury was much more serious, and the Croatian could not play for four months.

Nemec claims that Ancelotti did not give Modric enough time to recover. The doctor also wondered why the midfielder had to play the full 90 minutes in every match.

"Ancelotti did not spare Modric after his return from injury," said the physician. "He played 90 minutes in every match. Carlo did not give him enough time to recover properly."

"Luka got injured not only because of the collision, but because he was not yet 100 percent ready," added Nemec.
