The doctor speaks about Maradona's physical condition: "The further, the worse"

Colombian medical luminary Hermann Ohoya opened up about prosthetics issues and revealed the health situation of the former world-renowned soccer player Diego Maradona, according to lrytas.lt.

"Diego will soon have to lie on the surgical table to undergo a prosthetic operation. He will have to change his knee joint - this will happen very quickly and there can be no other solution," the doctor said.

H. Ohoya operated on the left leg of the famous football player in 2004 and in June of this year, just before the World Cup in Russia.

"I did this so that Diego could go to the World Cup and enjoy football. But it was only a temporary measure because I know the true essence of the matter," said the doctor.

It is reported that the Argentine invited to Russia by FIFA watched 6 matches, and for attending the matches at the stadium, the International Football Federation paid him $10,000.

"Diego's knees are damaged by arthritis, there are no more cartilages in both knees, the bones rub against each other. This is a very serious problem that causes Maradona a lot of pain. He himself knows that he will have to undergo an operation and have prosthetics on his knees. But he is still young. If this is not done now, everything will be even more tragic. And he understands that himself," a well-known doctor told the newspaper "Ole".
