On Friday evening, two English Premier League matches were played.

The year ended triumphantly for the Liverpool team, who beat the Leicester City team at home with a score of 2:1.

Interestingly, the first goal was scored by the guests - Kiernanas Dewsbury-Hallas scored in the 4th minute.

It is interesting that not a single Liverpool player sent the ball into the net in this match, but it was the Leicester defender Wout Faes who scored two particularly curious own goals.

In the other match, the West Ham United team once again ended up without points, losing 0:2 at home to the Brentford footballers.

The goals for the winners were scored by Ivan Toney and Josh Dasilva.
