Today in the Spanish football federation the draw for the quarterfinals of the King's Cup of the 2017-18 season was made.
The champions of the previous season, "Barcelona," will face a quite challenging quarterfinal. They will have a two-game encounter with Vigo's "Celta" club, which took away two points from the Catalans in the Spanish league last weekend.
Madrid's "Real" club got an easier opponent - "Numancia," who is currently in the 2nd division of the country, knocked out "Malaga" in the round of sixteen.
As for the other Madrid club, "Atletico," they will face one of the weakest opponents potentially - "Lleida Esportiu," competing in the third division, in the quarterfinals.
The quarterfinal stage of the King's Cup will start on January 3rd and will end on the 10th.
