The marathon of Friday's matches ended with an intriguing duel between the England and USA teams in Group B of the World Championship.
The match ended in a 0-0 draw.
At the start of the match, both teams played cautiously, and in the 10th min. the first slightly more dangerous moment was marked by H. Kane.
In the 26th min. W. McKennie created a threatening opportunity, but his shot missed the goal. A few minutes later, another American, Y. Musah, tried his luck, but the ball was caught by J. Pickford.
The confident Americans almost scored the first goal - after a shot by Ch. Pulisic, the ball hit the goal frame.
At the end of the half, M. Mount tried his luck from his usual distance, but goalkeeper M. Turner managed to defend the ball.
After the break, the Americans continued to try to create dangerous opportunities in front of the opponents' goal, but they lacked accuracy.
At the end of the match, both teams tried to secure a victory, but the ball did not end up in the net after set-piece situations - 0-0.
