"Manchester United" has a new permanent team captain.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that from now on, Harry Maguire, who joined the team in the summer, will take on the captain's duties.
He has worn the captain's armband several times this season, but officially, these duties belonged to Ashley Young. However, Young has not played much recently and eventually moved to Milan.
"He became a leader as soon as he arrived here," Solskjaer said about Maguire. "It didn't surprise me at all but I am pleasantly surprised by his leadership qualities. That's why he was entrusted with the captain's armband".
