The 'Džiugas' from Telšiai bid farewell to the male coach from Portugal

The team "Džiugas" will start the new season of the "Topsport A League" with a new coach, as the contract with coach Joao Prates was not extended.

Prates coached "Džiugas" for a season and a half before the team was taken over from the previous coach Marius Šluta. During this time, the coach managed to keep the team in the top league of the country, as well as leading the team to the semi-finals of the LFF Cup for the first time. Although this season did not go as planned, the coach was able to get the most out of the available resources.

The club thanks Joao Prates for the victories, for creating history, and for the opportunity to continue competing in the top league of the country. We wish the coach good luck in his future endeavors.
