The “Sevilla“ club, introducing a new coach during the national team break, played a successful match against the royal club.

Diego Alonso's players finished the match against Madrid's “Real“ team with a 1:1 draw. 

In the first half, Federico Valverde led the visitors ahead, but VAR detected an offside by Jude Bellingham and the goal was disallowed.

The goal drought ended in the 74th minute. David Alaba, scoring an own goal, caused his team to fall behind.

Soon after, Dani Carvajal, somewhat surprisingly, equalized the score with a header, but the winning goal eluded them.

There was no shortage of emotions during the match, with the now representing “Sevilla“ team's Sergio Ramos often in the spotlight.

Despite the draw and dropping two points, “Real“ will maintain its leadership position in Spain.
