Jesús Navas is ending his football career in the middle of the 2024-25 season.
The 39-year-old right-back is suffering from pain, which is why he decided not to wait until the end of the season and retire a bit earlier.
On Saturday, J. Navas played his last career match at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium. After the game, he could not hold back tears while thanking the Sevilla fans for everything.
Sevilla defeated Celta 1:0.
During his career, J. Navas won four Europa League titles, two Copa del Rey titles, one Spanish Super Cup, a Premier League title, two FA Cups, triumphed twice in the European Championship, once in the Nations League, and once in the World Cup with Spain.
