Harry Maguire's story will soon have a final point. The British media reports that "Manchester United" and "Leicester City" clubs have finally agreed on the transfer of the Englishman.
The Telegraph was the first to report that "Leicester" accepted an £85 million offer for the 26-year-old defender. Soon after, other major sources - "Sky Sports" and BBC - also announced the agreement.
However, both sources claim that the transfer fee will not exceed £80 million. Even in this case, H. Maguire will become the most expensive defender of all time - a record previously held by Virgil van Dijk.
H. Maguire reached an agreement with "Man Utd" a few weeks ago, but negotiations dragged on due to the amount requested by "Leicester".
The England national team representative has been defending the colors of "Leicester" since 2017. In two seasons, he managed to play 76 matches and score five goals.
