On Saturday evening, Madrid's "Real" secured their first victory of the season in the "La Liga" championship. The "Royal" club defeated "Real Betis" with a score of 3:2 in an away game. The visitors took the lead in the 14th minute after Federico Valverde's goal, but "Real Betis" equalized in the 35th minute with a goal from Aissa Mandi, and shortly after William Carvalho put the hosts ahead. The second half did not go well for "Real Betis" defender Emerson. The Brazilian scored an own goal in the 48th minute, allowing "Real" to equalize, and was sent off the field in the 67th minute for a last hope foul. The Madrid club was awarded the victory in the 82nd minute with a successful penalty kick by Sergio Ramos.
