The extremely strict UEFA punishment for the "Milan" club has been revealed.

This week the club "Milan" withdrew from the Europa League received another piece of bad news. UEFA finally decided to impose a penalty on the Italian giants for financial violations.

It was officially announced that the "Serie A" team will lose a sum of 12 million euros for their performance in this season's Europa League tournament, and will also not be able to register more than 21 players in European tournaments for the next two seasons.

If by June 30, 2021, the club commits further violations, it will be disqualified from UEFA tournaments for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons.

It is worth reminding that last summer UEFA had punished the "Milan" team with expulsion from the Europa League tournament, but the team appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which overturned the decision and ordered the organization to impose different penalties.
