For six years, David Beckham represented the Los Angeles Galaxy decided to leave the club.

"The time I spent here was special, but I want to take on one more, probably last challenge before the end of my career," - said the former England national team captain in a press release.

The 37-year-old veteran started his career at "Man Utd" where he won six English champion titles. Later, he played for four years in the Madrid "Real" team, and in 2006 he moved to the United States.

Local fans have named him the best player in the US league, and the "Galaxy" has won the prestigious MLS Cup three times. The cup will be contested with the Houston Dynamo on December 1st this season.

It is said that at least five Australian clubs are interested in Beckham.
